Become an Amateur Radio Operator

The Morris Radio Club will be holding its 2007"No-Code Technician Class" beginning Tuesday, September 18th at 7PM. This year the course will be held at the Normandy Park School on Normandy Parkway, just South of Columbia Rd., in Morris Township. The class will meet once a week and will end on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
(Normandy Parkway intersects Columbia Rd. approximately one mile West of Morristown Airport. The Morris Museum is on the corner. Turn South. The entrance is the second left turn. Enter thru the right end of the building. The class will be in the Computer Laboratory)
There is no cost for taking the course. You are required to get a copy of "Technician Class 2006-2010 License Preparation by Gordon West, WB6NOA". The book is available from KJI Electronics in Caldwell, Barnes & Noble, or Amazon for under $20. You won't need the book to begin the class so come anyway. The only other cost is the $14 fee to the ARRL who will administer the test during the last class session.
